The St. Louis Officials
Association 2009 Annual Awards banquet was held on Saturday,
November 7, 2009 at Orlando Gardens Banquet Center.
Honoree's included:
2009 Bud Miller Award - Most
Promising Football Official:
200 Award Winner David Rabbitt.
presented this year's award to
AJ Weber.
2009 Bob Schapp
Award - 2009 winner of the Most Promising Basketball
Official was Will Amon.
2009 Most
Promising Volleyball Official was Cindy Niemeyer.
2009 Ken Braden
Award was presented to Dan Fitzgerald by last
years winner - Marcella Rose
Carl Madsen was inducted in the St.
Louis Officials Hall of Fame.. SLOA has been in existence
for 63 years and we only have 27 members to our Hall of
Fame.
2009 Harold
Booth Award was presented by Jim Brickey to
Kevin Key. Jim noted Kevin has worked finals in
both Basketball and Volleyball. Jim Rosen
presented another Harold Booth award this year to Arthur
Lucky. Congratulations to both winners.
